Miss Hammurabi

I love love this poster.

How can everything is perfect in this drama? I like that it is really true to real life, especially recent episode, episode 5. It’s not about fighting for justice and winning it, but it shows, both in the case of the old lady and the overworked female judge that not winning doesn’t mean that you lose.

This is probably the best of Go Ara. I haven’t really liked her previous character. She’s OK in Reply 1994, but after that it’s just hmm. And L! He really improved a lot. Now I’m thinking of going back and finish watching Ruler of the Mask. Haha.

Hana Nochi Hare

I’ve heard of the continuation of Hana Yori Dango, by Kamio Youko last year and been trying to find scanlated manga then but it was not available anywhere. And while looking for dramas to watch (still lacklusterrr), this came up and I gave it a try. Well, you know if I blog about means I really loved it?! Hah! All solid actors! The one that surprised me the most is Hirano Sho!

This is truly Hanadan 2. You can see lots of repetition of actions and scenes from the first Hanadan. Although the lead character, Haruto is TOTALLY different from Domyouji. His counterpart Oto, was rich and now poor. She’s tasted both of the world and that’s what makes her so much mature. Second lead, so perfect it’s wasted. I’ve been waiting and hoping if he’s a little bit evil so I can hate him a little. Huhu. But he’s just too perfect it’s not interesting. Haha.

A Poem a Day

What’s with the lackluster of current dramas…..
But!

For now 4 episodes of this drama made me giddy! First, Lee Joon Hyuk! Aw, finally! Your rom com drama! Been waiting since City Hall. It’s like I’ve been watching you grow up. 😀

And Lee Yoo Bi. Hm. I’m not fond of her acting when I last saw her in Pinocchio and Scholar Who Walks the Night. But, here is natural. She improved a lot or she’s comfortable with her character.

It’s a cliche rom com. You’ve been warned. What attracts me is the job profession, not your regular doctor drama but of a physical therapists. Poems. Lee. Joon. Hyuk.

I don’t know why but I love this scene. How he steps up in front.

Hwayugi

Hong Sisters dramas are hit or miss for me. Sad about Big, and I don’t even start Warm and Cozy. Anyway, I tried not to expect anything from this drama. I know Lee Seunggi! Cha Seung Won! So I watched the first four episodes. AND I can’t really help but to compare it to Goblin. Too much almost similar scenes and setups. This is only me. I only feel this way. For example, the way they walk first past each other, the song, Lee Seunggi sitting on building. List goes on.

BUT. This strangely starting to creep inside of me. Lol. I keep thinking about it. Oh, Son Oh Gong, his conflict and straightforward about killing her and loving her. What? If I were Jin Sun Mi, I’d be so confuse as hell as well. I’d react exactly like her. Haha. Gosh, Son Oh Gong.

Jugglers

Ahhh!! Uri Lee Ji Hoon (High Kick 2) is backk!! This is my current favorite. Watched it started yesterday, with.. no expectation at all. I know everyone been saying it’s light romance, asisstant-boss’ relationship.

And yeah, it grows on me with each episode. It’s cliche I know. But it works. Lol.

A Love So Beautiful

Oh, so so good. It starts when they’re in high school, in university and working. Some people say it’s similar to ItaKiss but it’s actually based on novel? Although I guess it’s loosely based on Itakiss. My suspicion is because Xiao Xi’s room is full of ItaKiss posters. Ha. Jiang Chen is soooo tall, and I appreciate the fact that they didn’t try to make Xiao Xi tall at all! Even when they’re walking, when they focus on Xiao Xi’s face, you can’t see Jiang Chen’s head!

And you know one more thing what I like about this? It’s not the girl who fall in love first the guy fall in love later. Before we know it, he already paid attention to her. All that jealousy stares! and his actions!

Okitegami Kyoko no Biboroku

After watching My Mr. Mermaid, I’ve been missing watching Okada Masaki. My favorite dorama of him would be Otomen. I know it’s not a popular drama. I read the manga once. It was funny, and the drama is as funny!

This drama showed up in my radar few times in my tumblr feeds. I know it’s a good drama but don’t have the mood to watch it then. But it has my two favorite actors! Okada and Gakky! Why I stayed away from it?! Well, I guess because it’s a fantasy drama? It’ll be good if it’s done right, and bad if it’s too much. I remember trying to watch one of the Kame drama, Yokai Ningen Bem and couldn’t even finished Episode 1.

And yes, I like how light this drama is. Just what I needed. I like how Yakusuke knows he’s attracted to Kyoko and pursued her even though he knows she’ll forget it. The cases are OK. My favorite episode would be when they stayed up for 5 days straight in Kyoko’s room. Haha. That was hilarious. But that’s what happened when you’re close with someone. Haha. Ah, I wish Kyoko will remember those moments.

And damn it. This series screams Season 2. There are so many things left unanswered especially about Kyoko.

And this is my favorite scene. I root for Yakusuke all the way, and finally!
